How VeVe drops actually work

A drop is a scheduled release at a fixed date and time, almost always 8 AM Pacific. Popular releases sell out in minutes, and the queue does not care how long you have been collecting - being in the app before the clock hits zero is most of the battle.

Drop formats you will see

• Blind box: you buy sealed and find out which variant and rarity you pulled after purchase. The blind-box explainer covers the odds and the culture.
• Fixed price: a known item at a known price, first come first served until the edition sells out.
• Open edition: available for a set window rather than a set count - usually the most beginner-friendly entry point.

Rarity tiers

Drops carry tiers from Common through Uncommon, Rare, Ultra Rare and Secret Rare. Higher tiers mean smaller editions and longer odds, which is why Secret Rares are the pieces collectors chase. Every term here is defined in the collecting glossary.

Drop-day checklist

1. Create your account ahead of time and claim the US$10 new-collector credit - do not do this five minutes before a drop.
2. Open the app several minutes early and let it fully load.
3. Know your budget before the timer hits zero. Collect what you love, not what is loud.
4. Missed it? Sold-out pieces often reappear on the in-app marketplace at collector-set prices.
